Whether you’re a rum-lover, planning an investment, or you simply want to be part of our very first vintage of New Zealand rum, don’t miss your opportunity to be part of this rare and highly anticipated spirit.
We use a blend of sugar cane and organic molasses to create our high quality base spirit. This is then aged in barrels which have been carefully sourced from awarding-winning bourbon whiskey distillery, Buffalo Trace.
You have the option to choose between a golden or spiced aged rum which will be aged for two years at 55% alcohol by volume. Or, you can choose to age it even further for a dark aged rum.
OPTION ONE
Buy a 200L barrel of aged rum (approx. 360 x 750ml bottles)
Purchase your very own barrel of rum (55% ABV) which we will mature for you in cask for two years. Once it’s ready after two years’ of aging, we’ll bottle it up and you can enjoy your aged rum just how you like it!
Choose a golden aged rum or spiced aged rum.
Included in your purchase:
- Personalised label design
- Annual site visit to taste your product
- VIP tour of the distillery with an explanation how you rum is produced
- 1 x 750ml bottle of an unaged white rum delivered on purchase.
You can also share this exciting journey with friends, family or colleagues and purchase your barrel as a group.

Further Tailoring options
Option 1.1
200L Further aging (approx. 360 x 750ml bottles)
If you want to add even more complexity to your 200L barrel of aged rum after its initial two years of aging, you can choose to age your barrel for even longer at $450 per year, for up to 12 years creating a characterful dark rum. Once you’re ready to enjoy it, we’ll bottle and label it for you!
Option 1.2
200L Investment barrel (approx. 360 x 750ml bottles)
Perhaps you’re looking to make an investment? You can choose to simply sell back your 200L barrel of aged rum to NDC for a 15% profit after two years from purchase.
OPTION TWO
Buy a 10% share of a 200L barrel of aged rum (36x 750ml bottles)
Purchase a 10% share of a barrel of rum (55% abv), which we will mature for you in cask for two years as part of a group. Perfect, if you just want to dip your toes in!
Choose a golden aged rum or spiced aged rum.
